I have local AI and I can say goodluck to anyone that thinks they can run useful AI on their home machine. I spent ten grand at least to get good enough accuracy and performance. I use it for my business and still need to use third party LLMs for anything that needs a context window that can’t possibly fit on memory I have locally.
The amount of maintenance, debugging and wear on your hardware is just not worth doing local AI beyond simple writing tasks or small, janky image generation.

U said its claude but lokal which isnt true. Claude is claude, qwen is one of alibaba clouds frontier opeb weight models. Theyr a big diff. Qwen is even cooler then claude in my opinion. But if u think a 27b parameter qwen is going to be like using claude/claudecode you need to get reinformed. You cannot compare a local language model to a group of agentic agents managing a group of llms through their cloud. The parameters are incomparable and claude is way ahead.
Which doesnt mean you cant get that capabilty from a local llm. But with current home desktop setups? Newest home consumer gpus that cost 600 and above can barely run 32b parameters. Let alone agenticly manage a bunch of 100b parameter pretrained running through insane cloud hardware in a home server lol.

Tried already works great for simple tasks only due to context limitations. Qwen smaller models are like the best Japanese vegetable knives being offered for meat cutting job . Yes can be used but limited to the use case .
