What I want to know is, is the "watermark":
1. A pattern of visible letters/characters spread throughout the test it generates?
2.  Hidden characters it adds in here and there that can later be detected?
3.  Something else entirely.

My guess, since it can be copied, is its done using characters.  But exactly how, I can't say.

If its 1, then just changing up your text thoroughly enough should get rid of it.
If its 2, its a bit tricker, but should still be possible.

Regardless of which of the 3 it is, however, I predict that websites will start popping up with the sole purpose of removing AI watermarks from text.  Just paste in your AI generated text, it will detect the watermarks, and then it will remove them for you.

Hence I usually put my documents into Gemini Notebook and then write my own summaries based on the short video, PowerPoint presentation or AI podcast style discussions.

The European AI law has an excemption for simple editing(spelling, grammar, etc.). If Claude is still adding these watermarks in this case, they're going overboard.

Copy paste into notepad and then out of notepad. Problem solved. Any special wording keys like the one Google uses is just that - a word. No one in a court of law can prove you didn't write it based on that.

What about using Claude to build Web Applications, Web APIs, and Mobile Apps! Can it detect those and also, what are the drawbacks if a system detects that an App/System was built using Claude? Also, with APIs web browsers don't necessarily have access to those!
