You cant fool me Logic, I know thats you in disguise!
2026-09-07 06:11

The snakes seemed super chilled and accommodating to your nonsense but I can’t help hearing them in my head saying “Can you fcuking not?” as you randomly flip them upside down and manoeuvre them about hahahah!
2026-09-07 02:52

I can't get over 'precious moments' I love her, that is such a cute name!
2026-09-06 21:50

Get @Clints Reptiles on here??
2026-09-06 18:51

Waaiitt you didn't talk about that King Croba behind you :<
2026-09-06 12:09

Speaking of snake skeletons, fun fact one of the differences between (most) snakes and (most) legless lizards is that snakes have a long body with a bunch of ribs and legless lizards have a relatively shorter body with a long rib-less tail.
2026-09-06 11:59

How many times did you watch this?
Yes.
2026-09-06 10:29

"boa constrictors" *video shows a green anaconda*
Like cmonnnn please
Editing this to include that they show a scarlet King snake when he mentions a Coral Snake. That doesn't even illustrate his point well, wtf?
2026-09-06 08:15

I find it funny that I’ve lived in SoCal for over a decade where I frequent parks and hiking trails with rattlesnakes, and yet the only time I ever encountered a rattler in the wild was along the Hudson River about an hour’s drive north of NYC.
2026-09-06 06:42

1:00 Wait...I thought the inland taipan had a darker head...that looks more like the central ranges taipan or the coastal taipan.
2026-09-06 05:57

I hate the Canadian winter, but at least there are not hundreds of Australian critters out there to kill us. Guess it's too cold up here ?
Cheers to our Aussie mates! ????
2026-09-06 05:46

Looks like Tobias got more hair plugs ?
2026-09-06 05:03

Well at 2 mins when he says "you should feel lucky", I can't listen to anymore of this pagan superstitious shite. There is a God in heaven, there isn't any luck dragon, that's so useless and an unscientific religion of ignorance, nothing for me to learn here. Guess when shitmas time comes around he prays to santa claus still.
2026-09-06 04:49

This is exactly how I pictured a loser herpetologist would look like...
2026-09-06 02:43

Ya the whole eating people thing, maybe a big berm and child or little person shouldn't be in the same area. Other than that. Definitely not a concern. Cats and dogs will always cause me damage
2026-09-06 02:17

The thing I love about the spers, it's proof of 1 of 2 things. Evolution, or god. I lean towards evolution lol but have you ever been in the convo where the Christian your explaining snakes too says there hooked cuz of the devil's horns ????????
2026-09-06 02:15

Reptile snake answers expert questions
2026-09-06 01:23

15:18 if there have been cases that means it's not "theocratically" that's practically
2026-09-06 00:43

Why are people shooting at him ?
2026-09-05 22:37

Thought its an expert in herpes
2026-09-05 21:07

What if coral snake actually wants to mimic milk snake? ?
2026-09-05 21:04

a snake butt bite would be awful but cool
but if it gets ANY part of the front of you
its suddenly not cool and ur going to have problems
2026-09-05 17:49

Herpetologist here. Sometimes even in the US you have to watch out with “red touches yellow kill a fellow” because some species of completely harmless shovel-nosed snake also have red and yellow touching ?
2026-09-05 15:06

309 792 3 days
2026-09-05 13:55

This was my favorite wired video to date! I love snakes! Just found two little rat snakes in my house today. Of course I freed them outside. Beautiful creatures!
2026-09-05 13:17

You forgot Kraits
2026-09-05 12:33

I wanted to watch the full video but since the snake is pretty much phobia to me, I can't you shouldn't have shown this much snake while answering!
2026-09-05 11:41

7:44 there are no snake in the US senate, only pigs and rats.
2026-09-05 11:28

I love the American Museum of Natural History
2026-09-05 10:18

when it comes to antivenom, there's a drug currently in clinical trials that's a pill form of antivenom that's intended to be administered as a rescue medication, since a lot of snake bite related deaths occur on the way to the hospital
the drug itself is called Varespladib
2026-09-05 10:06

8:01 why am I so offended that he mentions Antartica as being snakeless but doesn’t mention New Zealand…? ???
2026-09-05 09:56

One of the best ever done. Fascinating and I’m glad people are getting informed. I hope he comes back
2026-09-05 09:41

I love snakes and I enjoyed this episode
2026-09-05 07:22

>Gene Simmons smiles knowingly<
2026-09-05 06:30

2026-09-05 05:33

2026-09-05 03:56

SHOT????
2026-09-05 03:45

I'm watching this while one of my BPs chills on my shoulders as I rearrange his enclosure. Great timing.
2026-09-05 02:28

I guess after getting shot even dangerous snakes start to look cute.
2026-09-05 02:17

6:00 when I was in elementary school and we were learning about the different classes of animals, the teacher said that reptiles are vertebrates. One kid then mentioned “then wait how do snakes go under doors then??” To which the teacher then proceeded to say that snakes were invertebrates ? I stopped trusting a lot of the school system after that
2026-09-05 00:57

Awesome
2026-09-04 22:29

Can confirm there are also no snakes in New Zealand
2026-09-04 21:54

Those diaphonized specimens on the desk are so cool.
2026-09-04 21:46

I know there are no stupid questions but some of these questions askers HAVE to be kindergarteners...
2026-09-04 21:22

When I heard herpeitology I didn't not think snakes
2026-09-04 21:01

Kind of a missed opportunity to invite Snake Discovery over
2026-09-04 19:15

11:30 I too once knew somebody named Precious who had labial scales
2026-09-04 18:51

i think the harry potter series did some sirius damage to the snake PR department
2026-09-04 16:20

the amount of ignorance towards snakes in the year 2026 makes me so sad, every time i hear someone say “the only good rattlesnake is a dead rattlesnake” or something along those lines, i wonder if they’ve ever thought that about literally any other animal that can possibly harm them or even show aggression at all. i can also recount at least a dozen times where somebody told me that they were chased by a snake ?
2026-09-04 15:58

Australia got the lion share of the venomous thingies
2026-09-04 12:06

For any of y'all who recognize the word "cloaca" in relation to birds, yes birds and snakes are related because birds are reptiles (though birds are more closely related to crocodiles).
2026-09-04 11:36

I need to hear the shooting story!
2026-09-04 11:27

we're just not gonna elaborate on this crazy getting shot story?
2026-09-04 11:22

Really interesting but I am not looking forward to my dreams tonight. ?
2026-09-04 10:58

1:56 is that a phil lester quote in my tech support video
2026-09-04 09:58

"This is THE most venomous snake on the planet earth. It's found in Australia"
Me under my breath: of course it is
2026-09-04 09:29

would love to see frank again; not only is he knowledgeable, but he's also pretty funny
2026-09-04 09:08

Ew just shave it off, why do males walk around looking like this??
2026-09-04 08:31

Precious moments is such an adorable name for a ball python
2026-09-04 07:31

"I got you outta an egg fool" was *not* the first sentence I thought I'd hear about snakes in this video?
2026-09-04 07:23

@Wired Can we get a rodent expert soon? I need rat facts!
2026-09-04 07:14

There are no snakes in the U.S. Senate. Snakes are vertebrates. The U.S. Senate have yet to evolve a spine.
2026-09-04 06:40

Hey, Ireland does not have snakes
2026-09-04 06:16

Why are Hognose snakes so stupid and how do they manage in the wild?
2026-09-04 06:08

14:05 Who else yawned?
2026-09-04 05:15

Speaking of invasive Burmese pythons, I think it is hilarious that humans - the most invasive species on the planet - complains about and actively hinders the propagation other invasive species when invasiveness is merely one more strategy that life takes to spread.
2026-09-04 05:00

That is an excellent combover. Just heroic.
2026-09-04 04:06

Wow stereo-olfactory!
2026-09-04 03:19

wow - lots of props!
2026-09-04 02:43

if I see a rattle snake - I just start blast'n!
2026-09-04 02:37

i think we glossed over being shot while out in the field just a bit
2026-09-04 01:28

3:52 That's an Anaconda, not well versed with the species, but looks like a Green Anaconda, *Eunectes murinus*. They also give live birth !
15:36 This would be one of the Ratsnake in the *Pantherophis obsoletus complex*, colloquially known as a "Black Ratsnake", although that term is very much outdated and problematic for various reasons.
24:10 This is a Grass Snake in the genus *Natrix* that occurs in Europe, Northern Africa and Western Asia all the way to Mongolia and Siberia. They are however not found anywhere near the Everglades.
2026-09-04 01:06

you did well with renaming the video
2026-09-04 00:59

4:28 this is two males fighting lol
2026-09-04 00:45

Hi Guys ?
2026-09-04 00:13

I’ve never met Precious Moments, but I’d die for that noodle.
2026-09-03 22:27

Don't like snakes but this expert was so entertaining that i watched the entire video!
2026-09-03 20:52

Why do people hate on your rat snake taxonomy changes?
2026-09-03 20:10

0:07 What a cute little nope rope!
2026-09-03 14:25

At 9:45 I'm hearing that I might possibly be a snake.
2026-09-03 14:11

I'm jealous of your job. I think snakes are awesome.
2026-09-03 13:40

Bro. Just shave your head. That is painful to look at ?
2026-09-03 12:58

WAIT!! Since when did some snake have live births?!! I thought laying eggs was one of the things that made an animal a reptile?!!!
2026-09-03 12:54

It's always "except Antartica".
2026-09-03 12:21

Snakes in the US senate? There’s a worse infestation in the White House
2026-09-03 11:48

Good info, though the video you showed when the expert was mentioning breeding with hemipenes was actually of 2 male snakes in male/male combat wrapping around one another, not breeding behavior.
2026-09-03 11:09

Mr. Herpetologist: The most venomous snake is found in Australia
Me: *sighs* of course it is
2026-09-03 11:03

Wow!
2026-09-03 10:38

I love Precious Moments, she is so cute and shiny.
2026-09-03 10:24

I want a snake so bad but too busy with life and other things like school ect so my dream is to have one when my life is together enough so I can give the snake the best life
2026-09-03 09:45

20:30 Oh, in the zoo I worked we actually have three of those! They're always moving around their enclosure and boy do they have an attitude when it's feeding time. They are one of my favorites!
2026-09-03 09:36

His tattoos are such a mismatch for the rest of his appearance and demeanor
2026-09-03 08:16

FYI, the “black racer” shown crossing the pavement into the grass isn't a black racer.
Also, the Natrix sp. shown on top of the duckweed is a European snake, not an invasive species in America. That clip appears to be stock footage that was added without proper verification.
I’m not saying the expert answering the questions made these mistakes. He may not have had any involvement in selecting the footage. But whoever assembled the video did a very poor job, and that matters when the content is being presented as educational.
These are basic identification errors, and they damage the credibility of the video. I know snakes well enough to catch these mistakes, but I watch this channel to learn about topics I don’t know as much about. Seeing errors like this makes me question how much other information may be wrong without me realizing it.
Anyone watching this channel for educational purposes should probably verify the information elsewhere instead of taking it at face value.
2026-09-03 07:39

Create a ranking list of the most venomous to the least venomous snakes in the world...
2026-09-03 07:23

When I was a kid we had a garter snake come up the broken pipes into our toilet. We found it because I went to pee in the middle of the night & it nosed me on the but (it did NOT bite me), but my 8 year old self screamed to shake the house. Dad relocated it outside. I've never peed in the dark since.
2026-09-03 07:05

Bravo!
2026-09-03 07:01

Wonder if snake guy will be mad they mixed up a racer and rat snake at 15:36
2026-09-03 06:07

00:38 The rattlesnake looked awesome. ?????
2026-09-03 05:52

Dude is goofy af
2026-09-03 05:15

In its defense, the Snakes on a Plane snakes were supposedly exposed to some gas/chemical that made them all hyper-violent supposedly…
2026-09-03 04:51

I love the "feel lucky" when you see a snake. They are incredible animals
2026-09-07 17:34

I believe New Zealand doesnt have snakes. The odd sea snake can wash up dead or dying, or sneak in with luggage. That always makes headlines lol. Our claim to reptile fame is we have a living dinosaur (tuatara) ..
2026-09-07 17:23

IDk man, that a petry solid snake
2026-09-07 16:14

Multiple kingsnakes out at the same time is certainly a choice. (They eat other snakes)
2026-09-07 14:29

I’ve always heard “red touches black you can pat it on the back, red touches yellow it will kill a fellow”
2026-09-07 10:44

Does New Zealand have snakes? I've never seen one or heard we had them here.
2026-09-08 08:56

Dude they did snakes now we need spider support
2026-09-08 07:54

Ireland has no snakes btw
2026-09-08 07:42

amazing! Thanks!
2026-09-08 04:42

Maybe a fun question if there is a second one: what is the difference between a true snake and a legless lizard.
2026-09-08 00:39

Apparently garter snakes that we have all over Ohio hibernate like that
2026-09-07 21:50

Of course they have skeletons that are vertebrates and all the muscle which is basically what they are is a muscle attaches to the bones via tendon
2026-09-07 21:46

I don't want the job where I'm casually mentioning 1000+ snake bites and getting shot ?
2026-09-08 20:18

Spiders next please :D
2026-09-08 19:57

how does the female snake decide whether to get fertilized right away or store for later? random? conscious decision? goes one way or the other bc of independent environmental factors at the time so something more like subconscious or automatic?
2026-09-08 18:36

Me: where can find The most…
Experts: Australia!
2026-09-08 18:36

As a snake expert, you should know that there are no snakes in New Zealand. Or have you forgotten that our country even exists?
2026-09-08 12:44

Now I wanna see an ornithologist, an mammalogist, and an amphibiologist.
2026-09-08 12:03

all the snakes in this vid are so chill and beautiful, thank you mr. snake expert for educating the public on these wonderful creatures
2026-09-08 11:52

What is it with reptile keepers and tattoes?
2026-09-08 11:28
