Why would Lively threaten her friend though? That seems suspicious. Blake Lively would have to be a complete and TOTAL piece of sh-t to do that. And that means Taylor Swift had no idea how horrible her own best friend was.
The only thing that makes sense to me is, maybe Lively asked Swift to delete some texts, and maybe something else, and Swift got spooked and decided to at least ask her attorneys about it. And then to protect their client, they went to the other side in a roundabout way to fill them in and keep her name clean.
But to think Lively said “you have to do this, or I’ll release everything!” seems pretty far-fetched. Perhaps she said, “if the texts come out, everyone will see everything since the day we met,” and it got distorted somehow.

Conspiracy Theory: What if…TS is only pretending to help Justin and to keep him from leaking her texts exposing her for doing the same sort of things Blake is doing…. And is in fact still friends with BL and RR and will end up giving him/Justin FALSE information….which BL could prove to not be true and make Justin look bad and lose public support and the the trial….. ? Birds of a feather flock together so I’m thinking TS is as bad as BLand RR. It’d save her image, her friend and keep people who speak up quiet.
